In this recipe, I will give you the ingredient measures for using the stand food mixer or you can mix it by hand.
If you wish to use your food processor you can, but you have to half the quantity as even the largest food processors cannot handle this amount of dough.
You can always mix all the ingredients together if you wish, then cut it in half.
Then you can mix the two batches in the food processor separately.
Just do whatever works best for you.
You will find that the food processor mixes it really well.
I normally use this amount for making three loaves or two loaves and about ten rolls (buns).
This mixture can also be used for making your pizza or bagels.
The ingredients are exactly the same, the process is just a little different.

Always prepare the yeast first before anything else
{2-tablespoons yeast plus 1-teaspoon of sugar in 1/4 cup of warm water}
Remember the golden rule when you're working your yeast , if your yeast doesn't rise your bread won't rise.
The water always has to be warm not HOT and not COLD.
Cover your yeast with plastic wrap to keep it warm, put it on a plate to catch the excess when it rises.
If your yeast doesn't rise, do a new batch.
Some people forget to add the sugar, the sugar helps your yeast to rise faster.
Ingredients:
Preparation time 20-minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-minutes on middle oven rack
7-1/2 cups of white flour (if you want mix it up, you can also use 4-cups of white flour plus 3-1/2 cups of whole wheat). Just remember and mix the flours together before adding the wet ingredients.

3-cups of warm water (reserve a 1/4 cup for your yeast)
1/3-cup of butter or olive oil or grapeseed oil (either one works)
1/4-cup sugar or honey
1-teaspoon of salt
{2-tablespoons yeast plus 1-teaspoon of sugar, prepare yeast first with 1/4 cup of warm water}
I am going to share a little secret with you for helping your bread to rise. That is, if you have an electric stove, not sure if gas stoves have this feature.
You probably know already, that your rear small ring (usually the small one at rear of stove) has a vent hole for your oven. When your oven is on, this hole lets excess heat release.
The secret is, that you turn your oven on at 350 degrees. Take a baking tray large enough to hold your three bread dishes, place your tray on top of this air vent area.
The heat coming up from the oven, will now heat your tray and your dishes.
While your mixing all your ingredients your dishes will be nice and warm for your dough, this increases the rising time significantly.
One you've added your dough to the dishes, turn off the oven and leave the tray with dishes in the same location.
Just cover your dishes with a large piece of parchment paper to keep your dough warm. It will rise in no time at all.
Method:
First of all, prepare yeast. Use small bowl or mug. 1/4 cup of warm water and stir in 1-teaspoon of sugar and 2-tablespoons of yeast. Cover with plastic wrap to keep warm. Set aside until it rises.
While your waiting for the yeast to rise:
Add flour or flours together (if using white and whole wheat)
into a separate large mixing bowl. Set aside for now.
Then separately:
Add remainder of 2-3/4 cups of warm water along with 1/3 cup of butter or oil, add 1/4 cup of sugar or honey and 1-teaspoon of salt. Mix them altogether.
Whenever yeast is ready, add it to the remaining bowl of water and mix it in with the other ingredients.
Now you can add these ingredients to your flour mixture.
If your using a stand mixer, set up your dough hook and mix until it is thoroughly mixed.
You can also knead ingredients by hand. First mix it with a large spoon then finish it off by hand until you think it is thoroughly mixed.
If you want to use the food processor method, make sure it is thoroughly mixed by using either above methods.
Then take half of the mixture and put it into the food processor, just process it for approximately one minute. Then mix the other half.
The recipe can be cut in half for Food Processor method:
If you feel that you don't need this much bread, reduce the recipe in half and just add all the ingredients directly to the food processor. This way, you can elimate using stand mixer or doing it by hand.
The food processor is a very simple method and the ingredients mix really well forming a real nice dough.
This full recipe will make three loaves. Split dough into three portions and add to a loaf pan or glass loaf dish.
The least messy way to do this is, cover each dish or pan with parchment paper. Make sure it overlaps pan or dish then add portion of dough. You will love using parchment paper.
If you don't use parchment paper, you have to grease your pan or dish with some butter, this is the messy method. (not recommended).
When your dough has risen, a little higher than dish or pan, you'll know when you look at it.
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and place on middle rack for 30-minutes
When your bread has finished baking, place your pans or dishes on top of your stove. Take a large wire rack and pull out each loaf by grabbing the overlying edges of your parchment paper. (so simple plus, no mess, nice clean pan or dish).
Once I place my loaves on the wire rack, I then keep the parchment paper and cover my loaves. The paper is already molded to the shape of the bread anyway. I do this just in case there are any little flies around.
Now, when the bread is cool, all you have to do is slice the bread and eat it.
